Avenir enters into strategic tie-ups with 3 Mexican firms

Avenir makes a foray into Latin America: Avenir has recently set up an office in Culiacan, Mexico. It is headed by Mr. Luis Bernal, Senior Consultant. Avenir has been working with a client, HOMEX, in Mexico. Avenir aspires to multiply profits of Latin American companies through TOC methodology and spread the TOC philosophy. Significant amount of interest have been demonstrated by different companies, across Mexico, within a month of operation.

Avenir partners TRL in its growth journey: Avenir has initiated a large consulting engagement with Tata Refractories Limited (TRL), a leading player in refractory business. The engagement will go on for several months and is designed towards achieving an order of magnitude growth in TRL business results. Avenir will be actively using the cutting edge management philosophy of Theory of Constraints to propel TRL onwards on this ambitious journey.

Avenir enters into an exclusive JV with Trinity Horne, UK to service the Services Sector in India

Avenir starts a Private Equity fund along with HDN, Mexico. The new entity will be called as NIF Consulting.

Goldratt Marketing Group

Avenir enters into an exclusive agreement with Goldratt Marketing Group, to become the only authorized reseller of Goldratt Marketing products in India. The merchandise includes almost everything that is available on TOC viz. books written by Dr. Goldratt and others, DVDs of Dr. Goldratt classroom sessions, computer simulation games, subscription to TOC.tv, etc.

MZ

Avenir has just started a large engagement with MZ, a formidable chain of departmental stores based in Mexico. MZ sells a breathtaking range of more than 30,000 SKUs, from categories such as clothes,groceries, perishables, linen, tools and even gifts. MZ sells through a network of 31 stores and competes strongly with many other chains including Walmart. Avenir, is implementing the robust TOC Retail Solution here and is committed to having this project be the best such implementation ever done in the world before. We are confident of delivering a significant jump in profitability by ensuring 100% availability of all products while simultaneously reducing inventory.

Godrej Locks

Profits of Godrej Lacks have almost doubled from last year. The profits for 2009-10 are 30.4 Cr. When Avenir started the engagement in April 2008, the PBT for 2007-08 was 15.5 Cr and in 2008-09 inspite of the recession, the profit numbers were 16.85 Cr (Locks was perhaps the only division in G&B whose profits increased over last year). So, we have almost doubled the profits from 16.85 Cr to 30.4 Cr within a year. These fantastic results have been made possible by the perseverance and belief of Godrej and Avenir in the TOC solution.
