Mr. Aditya Ray - Principal Consultant

 

Aditya is Electrical Engineering graduate from IIT Bombay (Batch of ’ 90) and completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad (Batch of ’ 92).

 

He is a seasoned Sales & Marketing professional with over 18 years of industry experience. He has been a business growth leader and a turn-around specialist and has

varied experience of managing brands and businesses in B2C and B2B environments.

 

Besides, working for a few iconic brands like Dunlop, Hitachi etc in the early part of his career, he gained a significant Industrial Marketing experience while working as the Sales Manager for a packaging major (Propack). However, his longest and more recent experiences have been in Media industry. He was Marketing Head of Zee TV, National Sales Head for Zee’ s Regional Bouquet, Channel Head for Zee Bangla, Zonal Business Head for Zee Network (East) at various times besides being in the Core Strategy Team of Zee Network. He also played a strategic leadership role during his stint with The Times of India Group. As the CEO of MTV Network in Sri Lanka, he led the turn-around strategies for Sirasa TV (Sinhalese GEC), to establish it as the island’ s Numero Uno Entertainment Channel.

 

Aditya has participated in co-creating and implementing Brand & Marketing Solutions for many FMCG, Consumer Durables, White Goods, Real Estates, Financial products and Services brands with a distinct solution selling approach during his long media industry tenure.
